What can I expect during the treatment?
A consultation is required. Needle application to the area in which there is a mild sensation but not much as the numbing product has been applied.
When will I see results?
Results are typically seen shortly after the first treatment as the healing process triggered by the production of new collagen and elastin begins to take effect. It may take a full month to see full results from one treatment. Depending on the type and severity of the skin condition being treated, 3 – 4 treatment sessions are usually required to realize maximum long-lasting results.
Do I need to prepare for this treatment?
No other micro-needling or nano-channeling
No Fractional or chemical peels 2 weeks prior
No Botox for 2 weeks prior
No Fillers or facial injections for 4 weeks prior
Is there any downtime?
After the treatment, you are able to resume most regular activities. However, we recommend refraining from any intensive physical activities for approximately 24 hours. For the first couple of hours, you may experience mild redness and swelling. It calms over the following 24 to 48 hours. These are normal and can be expected to disappear fairly quickly. The skin can feel dry for 7 to 10 days.
After the treatment be advised to NOT wash your face for approximately two hours and keep using the hydrating serum on the tiny holes created from pen for deeper penetration. It’s imperative to only use the recommended products!
How long will the results last?
Because the microneedling treatment generates the production of new collagen and elastin, results can last for many years. We recommend annual maintenance sessions to ensure continued results.
Is this pregnancy safe?
No, however, if you are nursing, that is at your own discretion.
